MDM Mecatronics is a leading company in the design and production of CMMs and has developed a range of specific hardware and software products for calibrating, testing the performance and calculating the measurement uncertainty of measuring systems of CMMs.
THE HARDWARE ARTEFACTS
- 2D ball plates for testing and calibrating CMMs and other coordinate-based measuring systems.
- Reference balls are used to calibrate the Feeler.
- Pitch samples are used for Performance tests, for Acceptance Tests and Periodic Tests on CMMs subject to standard ISO 10360-2.
THE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS
- Software for the automatic calibration procedures of 2D ball plates using non-calibrated machines of the CATRIM series.
- Manual procedures for other types of machines.
