Retrofitting

We have Retrofitted some Gear Measuring Machines of the type "with Rolling Roller" and "with adjustable base Circle" of major manufacturers (MAAG, KLINGELNBERG and others) that had problems in recording the tooth flanks, since they were fulfilled with obsolete systems that were rather difficult to repair in view of the impossibility of getting hold of spare parts.

We therefore believe that it could be interesting to give you a brief illustration of the application, in case you too use the type of Gear Measuring Machines just mentioned.
These Retrofitting activities not only allow you to continue using your Gear Measuring Machines (which for the reasons mentioned above were unable to provide traces of the tooth flanks) but they also allow you to amplify the range of results of the tooth flanks and to provide customised and absolutely different data in terms of the image of the simple trace.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

• The job entails the application of two optical incremental encoders, one of which is positioned on the horizontal axis (X) and the other on the vertical axis (Z). Their function is that of measuring the strokes of the two axes.
• The original head is replaced with an analogue head equipped with Linear Variable Differential Transducer/Transformer (LVDT), patented by MDM.
• Differential with resolution of 0.1 micron.
• The signals related to the data detected by the optical encoders and by the transducer are sent to the computer to be interfaced, conditioned, correlated, processed, displayed or printed by the specific dedicated "Gear Soft" program.
