The latest generation of the CATRIM family includes 5 models of machines complete with leading edge 3D Coordinate Measuring Technology (CMM) and Computerised Numerical Control Technology that are developed 100% by our company.
They represent a complete metrological system that aids CAD/CAM/CNC/SPC systems, which are currently required by all companies that work subject to quality standards ISO 9000 - EN 29000.
"CATRIM" DESCRIPTION AND COMPOSITION
Description and composition
- Catrim has a remarkably stable nickel-plated steel structure that ensures durability in time.
- The software program is developed, updated and customised 100% by highly skilled technicians.
- The levelling table is made of "Diabase" (African black Granite).
- The guides with pneumostatic support are equipped with a new system with self-stabilising passages.
- The load-bearing supporting structure is made of steel tubes and is equipped with levelling registers of the "Diabase" table and the feet are adjustable to set the system level on the ground.
- The cowling is stylised and the panels are made of painted sheet metal.
- The "Heidenhain" optical millesimal encoders on the three axes are the high resolution type.
- The TC2 "Touch Trigger" head is one of our exclusive patents.
- The movements of the 3 coordinated axes (X-Y-Z) are managed by leading edge linear motors.
Catrim is the ideal measuring machine both for professional measuring centres and also for those who use it for the first time, because it has a "User Friendly" metrological software program (Expert System with user licence updated free of charge on a periodic basis) that is easy to learn how to use and to program and that can measure any part whatsoever.

CATRIM Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMMs) are equipped with leading edge measuring systems (digital and optoelectronic).
The company makes its own wide range of accessories such as heads, extensions, turning and fixed feelers available on catalogue and on customer request.
Some applications of integrable measuring systems for solutions to the widest variety of measuring and digitalization problems.
The integration capacity of various measuring systems gives the CATRIM system a multimedia character.
On request, our measuring machines can be rigged-out with Renishaw measuring systems.
