History

Founded in 1968, when the company was known as "MDM di Giorgi Anna Maria" it later changed its name in 1985 and turned into the current group MDM, which comprises MDM Mecatronics srl and MDM Metrosoft s.a.s.

Its founder, Eng. Michele Deni, who is still the present chairman of MDM Mecatronics srl, after studying electronic engineering and obtaining his degree with top marks, started to design and manufacture mechatronic equipment to then specialise in the field of dimensional metrology.

Over the years MDM, under the guidance of its founder, registered more than 22 patents and registered brands which are still the basis for the company's production range. The group has sold approximately 5000 devices around the world. In 1989 with the last machine produced in MDM, GMM a leading edge gear measuring machine, the company won a leading position on the market of gear measuring systems, being the only producer in Italy of such product.

Over the last few years, together with the development and research of new products, MDM is still expanding at a worldwide level and has indeed opened some new sales and service points to guarantee an even better service to its customers.
